The beach is a very calm place since there is no beach road with noisy traffic, and water vehicles like jet-ski's and motorboats are discouraged. You don't need to bring anything else than your swimming suite, your sun lotion and your favorite book. There are many small bars and restaurants along the beach serving excellent food of both Western and Thai cuisine.
